Have you seen these at Dollar Tree?? I grabbed one and want to show you what I did with mine.

I'm still working on my Easter mantle and this little cutie is fun and fast! I picked up the egg at dollar tree just this week. I knew the design really wasn't my style but I could use it to make something that was. I grabbed a piece of scrapbook paper and some ribbon and got to work.

The first thing you do is trace your design face down on the scrapbook paper, then cut out your pieces. These you will use mod podge to apply to the front of the egg. My scrapbook paper wasn't quite big enough to do the whole egg, so I grabbed my burlap to use as a ribbon in the middle.

I used mod podge to apply my scrapbook paper and hot glue to glue down the ribbon. Once in place apply a small coat of mod podge over the top of the paper to seal. To add a little extra I glued down another cute smaller width ribbon over the top of the burlap.

Lastly, to finish it off I added a small little ribbon bow I made from natural dried raffia ribbon and twine. I hot glued it right in the middle and it finished this dollar tree DIY egg decoration perfectly.

Another super cute and easy DIY decoration for my Easter mantle. I just love it! It pairs really cute with the Happy Easter sign I made. See it here https://www.underacottonwood.com/post/oh-my-gosh-this-turned-out-so-cute-and-it-s-quick-and-easy

I'm off to a good start! I've got more to do but so far so good! Both of these crafts are so quick and easy! See how I made by Happy Easter sign here: https://www.underacottonwood.com/post/oh-my-gosh-this-turned-out-so-cute-and-it-s-quick-and-easy

Hope you enjoy and maybe even make one for yourself!

Happy Crafting!
