On this weeks' segment of Tutorial Tuesday, I made the cutest little fall pumpkin sign. I picked up 1 of the pumpkin garlands from Wal-Mart and one wood panel from the craft department. If you'd like to check out the full video, watch here: https://fb.watch/fbHHeUjqYd/

I started by staining my wood panel with my favorite little antique wax. FolkArt Home Decor Wax from Hobby lobby.

My favorite way to use this stain is by using a baby wipe as a paint brush. It is such a quick way to paint this on and helps even out the paint.

While the panel was drying, I opened the garland and decided to use 2 of the white pumpkins and 1 of the green. I am totally loving neutrals for my fall decor, so this green and white combination is perfect!! I cut the twine and slid off the particular pumpkins I wanted to use off.

I then glued the 3 pumpkins to the panel creating the topiary design. Each little pumpkin had 2 tiny holes at the top of them that was used to string the twine for garland, so to cover this up I glued each pumpkin to cover those up. I made a cute little bow to place on the top pumpkin to cover.

Now, here's what I did to finish the project and give it a little rustic, antique look. Using white paint, a paintbrush and a paper towel. I did a little dry brushing all around the edges. You can do as little or heavy as you like. I just love the look this dry brushing does on top of the wood stain.

Isn't this the absolute cutest! I'm so happy with how it turned out, and it was so easy! If you watched the replay of the tutorial, you'll see that I made 2 signs. Stay tuned for the details on the other project!
Happy Crafting!
Jill
