It's starting to look like Valentine's Day around here!! I've got my Valentine tree started...I say started because it just might start and end all the same way. I got really excited to keep 1 small tree up after Christmas and create my 1st ever Valentine tree. I threw some ribbon on it and created a couple glitter hearts and that is literally where it ended. Anyone want to come finish it for me? Ha! Ha! Just kidding, I recorded a quick video on how I made the glitter hearts.

I've got a really simple and cute Valentine sign idea I want to share with you. It starts like this. I picked up this wood sign from the Hobby Lobby clearance isle.

The frame of this sign is wood, but I used Waverly antique stain and a baby wipe to just darken up the wood a bit.
I cut a piece of white and black polka dot scrapbook paper to fit inside the frame. I used mod podge to glue it down and then did a thin coat over the top to seal.
I had some small heart cutouts from dollar general, I took one and painted it red and then glued it to the scrapbook paper. I then took 3 little ribbons and created a cute little bow and glued it to the top of the heart. The last item I added to the sign was a metal XOXO word that also came from dollar general. I glued it to the bottom of the frame.
